You hear very frequently where people say things like; "I shall try to use the poultry knife to butcher a Cow". That's one of the statements that got me to pause for a moment after hearing it for the first time. There is something comical about that... I could hardly think of it without laughing.
Seriously, can you imagine that?
I think that statement is the same as saying that you will use $1 to become a millionaire.
For the record, I didn't bother to do any research about the chances of becoming a millionaire with a quid, but I'm sure you have to be pretty damn lucky to do something like that.
It's simply not very often you see people grow their finance at such a high rate. Very often, you will notice that statements like that are usually a matter of wishful thinking. Well, if wishful thinking is all it takes, I can as well give that a shot. How bad can it be?
This is partly why I'm looking at this new month, March, and whatever is left of the year and I'm beginning to nurse the thought of hitting it big before this year sees its end. I believe y'all know how we get pumped about each new month. We know opportunities can present themselves when we least expect them and a great number of us are ready to take these opportunities.
It's funny how I'm conceiving this thought when my earning and expenses for the first 2 months of this year has been in the same bracket. Somehow, this reminds me that I can't be naively egging myself on... with thoughts of my effervescent wishful desires. It's not enough to set big goals or wish for big wins. It takes a great deal of effort, discipline and luck to identify and utilise opportunities whenever it presents itself.
It's a new month, so we all have the privilege of setting goals and working towards achieving those goals.
Don't expect it to be easy though. The thing with wishful thinking is that it can be a high-risk high-reward strategy. If you must wish for some big wins this month, you also owe it to yourself to do what's necessary to increase your chances of hitting those goals.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma
