Hive Price
We have had a few ups and downs, and it seems like today things have taken a bit of a dip across the board. I'm not too worried about it.
There was a lot of hype in recent weeks, and I think after the substantial correction, people have chilled the beans in general and are a little bit more relaxed. I follow a good few people who make videos about crypto, but I've noticed the content production seems to have slowed a bit, and the art of weaponising hype has kind of slowed down too. The braggers have stopped bragging, and the gurus have been humbled.
I've noticed from the last few years that hype and overall excitement in some projects is very infectious, and it's easy for some people to flash a few gains to fool everyone into believing they're a genius.
We don't really suffer from that, and that's what I like about Hive in general, however, it couldn't hurt to potentially try to do a bit more in terms of marketing, even if it were in a more laid-back way, which would be more akin to the general vibe around here.
The Bull Market Is Nearly Over!
This is something I've been kind of hearing from some people recently, and I don't get it. We've barely started.
I'm not an expert, and to be honest, nobody really is. Some know a lot about tech, some know a lot about finance, or they're good at reading charts and predicting the future. That's all anything is though, predictions, nobody really knows what's going to happen next week, or next month, or next year.
We could get hit with an asteroid, or a solar flare could knock out the entire grid, and then what's our computer money good for? Who cares, just go with the flow, see what happens, and if you feel comfortable, sell it all and buy a villa somewhere to chill in, until the next bear market. That's what I'd like to do anyway, not that I think I could make enough to do that.
Who knows though? Nobody.
On With The Power Up
I started off today with 15,058 HP, and I decided to power up a few more Hive.
I have been building up my Hive, by swapping the HBD I earn, and I've been doing so with the intention of buying some other tokens on HE, or potentially using these earnings to buy some more coins outside of the Hive eco-system.
At this point, I've built my HP up to a level I feel happy about. Obviously the more the better, however, I do want to start taking some of my earnings and using them to buy a few other things that I'm hopeful about.
I decided to power-up 17 Hive.
With today's power up, I've hit 15,075 HP.
I have been on Hive since the 14th of December 2021, and in my time here I have managed to increase my holdings a lot.
Mainly, I don't power down, and typically transfer my HBD earnings into Hive, so I can power that up each month.
That has slowed down a fair bit now, considering I'm happy with where I'm at currently, so I feel that I have the freedom to distribute that money gained elsewhere, to help in preparing for the coming year or two.
As I said before, I have no idea what's going to happen, but I think it's smart to have a few different assets, rather than putting all of my eggs in one basket. Hive is my largest holding of everything else, and I do feel confident about it, but, of course, many things could be done to get a bit more attention.
Thanks for reading, and also I was only joking about the giveaway lol, April Fools. Last year I did one about leaving Hive and powering down and giving away everything, and that tricked a fair few people, for this one I decided not to be too drastic. I'm sure it'll still catch a few people though.
Happy Hiving.
