And finally, here I am, hitting the 10k HP mark that I set for the year. Came 3 months earlier than I expected which I think it makes sense for me with these 3 reasons:
- Personally had set a goal to have a daily input of what I have learned for the day on HIVE. Currently, I am on the 1st 21 days streak whereby I need to share my thoughts and inspiration for the day. I had been posting continuously for 17 days and 4 more days to finish the 1st streak. It is said that if I can finish up 3 sets of streaks straight on, there is a high chance that I can retain this skill and make it into a habit. So far it has been rewarding to me and I had been wanting to make this into a part of my system to improve my productivity.
- Between HIVE and STEEM, I am focusing most of my energy on HIVE as I see the community here is much alive than on Steem. On Steem, I can only see the Korean and Russian are really active on that which I don't see how I can set a present.
- Since I am focusing on HIVE, it is practical and sensible to put more stake in it and get the ball rolling! Have been going on with my personal goal of building this "second brain" that could eventually become a library of mine that is accessible and can even become an asset that is revenue-generating! This is a long term thing which I see it as a valuable asset to build. Since HIVE and Steem are both currently at its stable and low price point, I think this is a good time to restart my engine again and keep the momentum.
Since last month, I had been restructuring my crypto assets where HIVE is one of the focus of mine to hit 10K by end of the year. Yet, I have managed to make it happen 3 months prior, which is a good thing. Guess I can set a target of 15k for the final quarter and see whether it is reachable. Again, I would like to remind myself that this should not be a number game but a habit system building game. While the number can help to track and provide a bonus incentive for me to execute it, but the ultimate KPI is about the consistency. The more streak I can complete, the better I can be. As of now, this is going to be my first one! More to go.
As of 20/8/2020 to 20/9/2020, I had powered up 3,364 HP plus 48.17 HIVE from Curation and 102.1 HIVE from Author Reward. So the total HP that I staked in for the month would be 3,514.69 HP. A good start for the month and looking forward to pushing this figure even further.
Well, gonna retain some HIVE for the Power Up Day for October which is around 1 week plus from now. Looking forward to it!
