My name is Kofi Ayew and I’m 27 years old and I live in the beautiful city of Kumasi in Ghana. I work as a nurse at KNUST Hospital and for me nursing isn’t just a job as it’s a way to help people and make a real difference in their lives. Every day I go home feeling proud that I’ve done something meaningful and when someone came in pain and then comfort after we treat him.
I have a family of 3 brothers and 1 sister, My Father is an Engineer and My Mother work as a Teacher in a school in our city and I love my family as we support each others.
Outside of work I have a big passion for nature and the outdoors as I love going out to explore the wild, seeing the trees and beautiful landscapes and I also enjoy photography especially some shots of those special moments and natural scenes that you don’t see every day and of course as an African, I’m a huge fan of football whether I’m playing or just watching matches with my friends. Football here is more than just a game as it’s part of our culture, we do not care whether team win or lose we just enjoy.
About four years ago I got really interested in the world of cryptocurrency. I started reading articles, watching videos and learning as much as I could. I saw that this space is full of opportunities and it’s changing the way we think about money and technology.
When I discovered Hive I felt it could be a big step forward in my blockchain journey so what I liked most is that it’s not just about crypto, but also a place where people share content, ideas, and experiences as it’s a creative and supportive community.
I’m really excited to be part of Hive and I hope this is the beginning of a new and exciting way for me.
