This year has definitely flown by and I can hardly believe that we are already halfway through November. Time passes when you are entertaining and so it was for me, who had the opportunity to do a few walks this year. As for my personal finances, I have to say that I organised myself quite well and although I never had money left over, I never lacked for it either. Be that as it may, in case of any emergency I always have my savings fund in my Savings Wallet, which at the end of the year is not at the level I wanted it to be, but it is still a decent amount 😃.
Este año definitivamente voló y casi no puedo creer que ya estemos llegando a la mitad de noviembre. El tiempo pasa cuando uno está entretenido y así fue para mí, que tuve la oportunidad de hacer unos cuantos paseos este año. En cuanto a mis finanzas personales, debo decir que me organicé bastante bien y aunque nunca me sobró dinero, tampoco me faltó. Sea como sea, ante cualquier emergencia siempre tengo mi fondo de ahorro en mis Savings Wallet, que llegando al final del año no está en los valores que quería, pero igualmente sigue siendo una cantidad decente 😃.
It's been almost three years since I joined the Saturday Savers Club, where we organize ourselves to save in small amounts every day, which at the end of the day ends up being a nice cushion of over $650. This is the third time I'm participating in this club, fulfilling as much as possible, all the weekly HBD deposits in my Savings wallet. This method of saving is interesting because it is not so difficult if you have a good income in Hive, although in this last part of the year it is a bit more difficult because the deposits are more than $10 and also $20 🙃.
Ya pasaron casi tres años desde que me uní al Club de los Ahorradores de los Sábados, en donde nos organizamos para ahorrar en pequeñas cantidades cada día, los que al final de la cuenta terminan siendo un buen colchón de más de $650. Esta es la tercera vez que participo de este club, cumpliendo en la medida de lo posible, todos los depósitos semanales de HBD en mi billetera Savings. Este método de ahorro es interesante porque no es tan dificil si tenés buenos ingresos en Hive, aunque en esta última parte del año se hace un poco más dificil porque los depósitos son de más de $10 y también $20 🙃.
In the first two years, I was able to complete the challenge almost without problems and just in time. In recent years the price of Hive has fluctuated several times, so I could almost say that in those years it didn't cost me that much to make each deposit, even though at that time Hive already represented my main income. But this year I had several circumstances that complicated my continuity in the Savers Club, although I still want to do my best to make it to the end of the year 😅.
En los dos primeros años, pude completar el desafío casi sin problemas y justo a tiempo. En estos últimos años el precio de Hive ha tenido varias fluctuaciones, por lo que casi podría asegurar que en esos años no me costaba tanto realizar cada depósito, a pesar de que en ese momento Hive ya representaba mi ingreso principal. Pero este año tuve varias circunstancias que complicaron mi continuidad en el Club de Ahorradores, aunque quiero seguir haciendo mi mejor intento para llegar a fin de año 😅.
I had already started the year with some left over from previous years, but in the middle of the year I decided to use it to pay for a motorhome trip I took in winter. Up to that point my 2024 savings were not affected, but some time later my sister asked me for a loan, so I had to withdraw money from my wallet again. That withdrawal in June was exactly what I had saved in the club so far, so from then on it was like starting the challenge all over again from scratch. This didn't bother me because I don't hesitate to help my family, but it was like taking a big step back in my wallet 😶.
Yo ya había empezado el año con algún restante de años anteriores, pero a mitad del año decidí usarlo para pagar un viaje en motorhome que hice en invierno. Hasta ahí no se veía afectado mi ahorro del año 2024, pero un tiempo después mi hermana me solicitó un préstamo así que tuve que volver a retirar dinero de mi billetera. Ese retiro en junio fue justamente todo lo que había ahorrado en el club hasta el momento, así que a partir de ahí fue como volver a empezar el desafío desde cero. Esto no me molestó porque no dudo en ayudar a mi familia, pero fue como dar un gran paso atrás en mi billetera 😶.
From June to now I've been getting back on track with HBD deposits to try to catch up on payments, but I'm still quite behind. Luckily, in the last two months I've had some extra earnings from the Worldmappin curatorship that helped me get a few weeks of savings ahead, but I'm still going through the end of August's deposits and I've got September, October and now November to go. To catch up on all those payments I would need about 212.52 HBD, plus whatever is missing to complete the year from today onwards. I'm not sure I'll be able to scrape together that much to save as Hive is still my main income and I need it to survive during travel, but I still want to try as much as I can 🙃.
Desde junio hasta acá estuve retomando con los depósitos de HBD para tratar de ponerme al día con los pagos, pero aún estoy bastante atrasada. Por suerte, en estos últimos dos meses he tenido ganancias extras de la curaduría de Worldmappin que me ayudaron a adelantar unas cuantas semanas del ahorro, pero todavía voy por los depósitos de fines de agosto y me falta todo septiembre, octubre y ahora noviembre. Para ponerme al día con todos esos pagos necesitaría unos 212,52 HBD, más todo lo que falte para completar el año desde hoy en adelante. No estoy segura de lograr reunir toda esa cantidad para ahorrar ya que Hive sigue siendo mi ingreso principal todavía y lo necesito para sobrevivir durante los viajes, pero igualmente quiero intentarlo hasta donde pueda 🙃.
Reading the first post I made this year, my goal for December was to have more than 1000 HBD in my Savings wallet. At the moment I'm only at 699,981 HBD, which is not small but still a bit far from what I had set out to do. There is still more than a month and a half to go before the end of the year and although I don't see it as very feasible to reach that number, there is only one way to find out and that is to see what happens in the next few weeks. Either way, I'll have saved a little bit and I've made a habit of it, so that wouldn't be bad either. For the time being, it will all be a mystery 😅.
Leyendo el primer post que hice en el año, mi objetivo para diciembre era tener más de 1000 HBD en mis billetera Savings. Por el momento apenas voy 699.981 HBD, lo cual no es poco pero todavía está un poco lejos de lo que me había propuesto. Aún queda más de un mes y medio para terminar el año y aunque no no veo muy factible llegar a lograr ese número, solo hay una forma de averiguarlo y es viendo que pasa en las próximas semanas. De cualquier modo, igual habré ahorrado un poco y ya generé el hábito, así que tampoco estaría mal.Por el momento, todo será un misterio 😅.
