Not all people are great authors. I am one of them. I have been Hive blogging for more than a year. There are things that make me feel happy and sad.
Things that make me happy are when Hive and Hive Engine tokens are at a high price. I can earn good rewards from my post. I can save some of the rewards for stake. I also have cash in my daily life.
However, when the Hive and Hive-engine tokens are at a low price, everything looks blurry and hopeless. I still have the motivation to post, but I think I have lost my spirit. I am a full time blogger. That is the problem.
My biggest payout earning is $20 and the lowest is under $1. The average pay out is around $3 to $7. When I only earn $3 a day in a post, I think I want to give up blogging, but I do not have any jobs.
I should have a positive outlook on this condition. When the Hive price is around $2.5 to $3 the minimum pay out is $9.
In this situation, finally I power down my Hive power and Hive-engine tokens. I need cash for daily life. I do not care if there will be one or two who say, "I do not care about the Hive community." I need to survive with my power down.
Some successful authors earn between $10 and $50 per post. With that fund, I can save my power and my stake in hive-engine tokens.
I do not know what the future of my post will be. When my posts do not get good upvotes from whales. Begging for upvotes is a kind of online beggary. Writing quality content LOL .... Quality is not something that I cannot measure.
Ah.. I just want to share my difficult experience of being a Hive blogger. I hope your discontent with my post will not give me downvotes, Things that I am afraid of are downvotes. Upvotes are my family's dinner, while downvotes are my family's cry.
I tried to help my friend on board on Hive and they all failed. They gave up and became non-active in Hive. They did not say anything, but without earning they leave this platform silently.
I hope I can survive, and I will survive.
