Greetings family. I have been curious to learn more about the HIVE blockchain network since I joined the community, and I have finally discovered just a bit of the superpower of HIVE. The unique features of Hive make it the number one blockchain content creation platform, with several successful decentralized applications (Dapps) running on it.
I have explored most of the HIVE Dapps and have already developed an optimal love for each one of them. The Hive wallet system makes it easy for users to save and invest in any of the cryptocurrencies operating on the HIVE blockchain. Addresses are automatically generated upon creating an account, and you can easily transfer and receive funds across various markets using your username and private key, respectively.
When I first heard of HIVE, I thought it was all about blogging, but I later realized that there is more to the platform than just blogging. HIVE is a huge social network with an abundance of interactions, learning opportunities, and investment opportunities, just to mention a few. For now, the DApps I have been interacting with include LEOfinance and Ecency, and the experience is more amazing than I ever expected. Ecency has a very good UI and UX, which you would easily fall for upon trial. It is available as a web and mobile application. Here you earn Ecency points as you interact with the front end, and there are so many other useful features of Ecency that have the capabilities to attract more users to HIVE.
LEOfinance is also an amazing Hive project focusing on technology and finance, and I have been using it alongside Ecency. It is among the first 5 Hive Dapps, and its functionalities can easily help attract several users to Hive. When I first heard of HIVE, I was wondering how the hell we could compare Hive to Twitter if it has no room for microblogging. It was just a few days ago that I discovered the LEO Threads, which make it very convenient for micro-blogging on Hive. We also have a Leo glossary, which is a collection of terms related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology as a whole.
With all these features and more, I can boldly conclude that the Hive chain is the future of social media, and the user community keep on growing exponentially in the coming years as people keep on adapting to blockchain technology.
The Splinterlands is another Dapp that has piqued my interest. It's an amazing gaming platform on Hive. The graphics are top-notch, and it has all the features of gaming with a captivating UI and UX. Splinterlands will bring a lot of users to Hive, and all the transactions there are contributing to Hive's growth. I have not played the game yet as I am still learning how to play it and will begin immediately and am satisfied with what I have learned about it.
I have also explored Liketu, although I have not made a post through that. It has a very fascinating interface where members can share images and interact. There are a lot more projects running on HIVE blockchain that I have not stated in this blog. Those I have stated are the ones that I have interacted with so far. All these projects are running on the Hive blockchain, and they use what we call resource credits to operate. These resource credits come from the Hive power that you have, and without sufficient RC, you can't interact with the Hive projects. You have seen that this will make HIVE a very valuable asset as the user community increases, as they will need to have some RCs to be able to interact here.
HIVE's commitment to decentralization and these exceptional features make it the perfect platform for blockchain enthusiasts. As the project continues to grow and mature, I believe HIVE will become the leading content creation platform in the future and it will encounter mainstream adoption when the world finally start paying attention to the blockchain technology.
