It's PUD time again!! I'm continuing to support this great initiative as I think this is one of the best way to get everyone involved in order to keep Hive and its ecology sustainable in the long run. This month I did two power ups. Once in the middle of the month and another today, both times I powered up around 1000 HP. My current HP is 46177.
Last month I powered up 948 HP on PUD day, that took me to a nice round number 43k. I got a Hive Buzz bee badge, but think I missed out on the highest level by just a little bit!! I don't know if these bee badges level are the same every month, and whether you need to power up 1000 or more than 1000 HP for the highest bee level badge. I decided to do 1001 this month to be on the safe side, leaving me some liquid Hive for my PUD Guessing Contest (see below).
In terms of my Road to Orca status, things are still looking good for my end of March 2021 target. In fact based on my track record I might even have a chance of achieving that by the end of 2020.
The blue target line is a linear projection from October 2019, when I first started to track my progress till my March 2021 target. I need 2278 HP each month to achieve my target.
The orange line is my actual achievement every month till 1 Oct 2020. On average I increased my HP by 2913 each month. That's nearly 30% over the target increase in HP of 2278. If I can maintain the same trajectory or even better that, then I estimate I can achieve Orca by the end of this year. That will be awesome, but I shan't cry if I fail.
PUD GUESSING CONTEST
Last month I only had two entries to my PUD Guessing contest
Hopefully this month you guys will come back and join in the fun. In order to punish those who deserted me last month, I'm going to do a stinky contest.
About 10 days ago, I started making some black garlic at home. Basically, I put a bunch of garlic in a rice cooker, turn on the heat and let it sit for three weeks till it goes all black and jelly like. On the first evening, my entire flat filled with stinky garlic and in fact it was so bad it made my eyes watery when I went to bed. I thought I had caught a really bad cold!!! I really wish I could have sent the aroma over the blockchain so you can experience it as well. You can READ about the process here.
My PUD Guessing Contest this month is to guess how many bulbs of garlic I have in my rice cooker. The tip is in my post here, I can't remember the exact number but I think its +/- 5 and I'm 90% sure it's below the number I mentioned in my post here.
My black garlic takes three weeks and they should be ready on 12 October. So the contest closing date will be Sunday 11 October. The prize will be 20 Hive for the person who guess the correct number, and if there are more than one person who makes the correct guess, the 20 Hive will be shared between them. In addition, I'll upvote your contest entry comment this month, so come and join in the fun!!!!
