Back to the hustle.
I'm currently enjoying some days off, which means it's the perfect opportunity to get back to my online poker grind and bag some easy profits.
The micro stakes are my best bet, as I rarely ever get to face equally experienced opponents in this league. Most players around here are so predictable that I do not even have to use tracking software to get a good grasp of their betting habits.
We just started off and things are looking good. This is a turbo on-demand tourney, which means that more and more players will keep joining until 50 minutes of play have been concluded. Five-minute blind levels means that one has to be quite active; there's no room for narrow betting ranges.
Yet, this is exactly what most of these guys seem to be doing around here. Which is one of the main reasons why I prefer to stick around and not move up the stake ladder. Yup, this is a hobby, but I would rather make some money out of it instead of wasting it away.
Some people seem to think otherwise though, but it's all good with me; I will take it. Having played more than 1.5 million real-money hands on PokerStars alone means that I have a significant advantage against my opposition here. Playin' it safe and gathering earnings in order to buy into some low and medium stake tourneys has always been my remedy for success on PokerStars.
Once I get a good lead, I will sit back and change my betting patterns in order to make it harder for my enemies to read my game. Holding more than 50 BBs makes it much easier to be patient and play it safe, but also gives me the option to get overly aggressive and start stealing people's chips with craphands. I usually go for a mix of these tactics, while keeping track of time in order to change my betting patterns every 25 minutes or so. Tricks to the trade.
By the way, things have changed already:
The ultimate goal is to cash in four-digit figures which I will then use to buy some more BUSD and USDT, which is exactly what I have been doing recently, as I can see the bear approaching quite soon. I may be wrong with regards to time frame, but this is going to be a good decision regardless, as we will inevitably get there once again sooner or later. And when this happens, I will get the chance to become a HIVE orca as I've always wanted to.
I did buy some more LEO and CUB tokens recently, but I will try to increase my positions in those two as well given the opportunity. There is just so much going on around here, and even more progress being made behind the scenes, so I am currently FOMOing like never before. Thank God I've already managed to get myself stakes I do consider satisfactory.
With Christmas time right around the corner, I thought I'd treat myself with some quality time at home with friends and loved ones, and online poker sure is a hobby I can indulge in for the time being while listening to some quality background music.
If I manage to make some good money in the process, I will definitely be a happy man.
That sums it all up for now!
Never forget!
