What comes to mind when you see white petals? Peace? Excitement? Or something else entirely? Whichever it is, flowers are, no matter the color, are usually a beauty to behold.
For me, it's often a mixture of peace, calm, excitement, and more. And that's how I felt after spotting this beauty - Plumbago flower, growing amongst other flowers around the Marian Shrine. Honestly, I really felt good!
In the quietness of the shrine, and against the greens of the other flowers, these small white clusters glowed. I couldn't help but capture a couple of shots.

A closer look at the flower, and you'd think the bud is actually the white tip of a cotton swab (cotton bud). Seen it?

Away from there, I spotted another stunning bloom - Mandevilla boliviensis, also called the White Mandevilla or White Dipladenia.

I was amazed by its color, a pure white with a faint peachy-pink tint on the petals. Nature paints flowers better than we ever could. Lol.
A touch and it felt like soft, cool paper - another unique thing about the bloom.
And then another one, Crown of Thorns (Euphorbia milii). This flower is actually unique because, against the thick, woody stems covered in sharp, gray thorns and bright green, oval-shaped leaves, it still has blooms - colorful, leaf-like bracts that surround the tiny, inconspicuous flowers.

And the bracts come in various hues, including red, pink, yellow, and white. So far, I've only seen the white and pink colors before. In fact, the pink one is mostly seen here in my city. I was surprised Te day I saw the white one at my sister's house - that was the first time. Hoping to see the yellow one too, someday.
How many have you seen?
Just as humans are unique, every flower has its own uniqueness, and these are no exception.
Thanks for coming around.
