The price of lithium has increased during 2022, although it is somewhat decreased from the peak of mid November. The demand for lithium is still expected to be high as there is a push for the replacing of gas powered vehicles for electric vehicles (EV).

Regarding supply, Australia is expected to increase its production by 32%
