🌟Introducing Marvey: the epitome of creativity and optimism🌟
Hello everyone! My name is Barratts Marvellous and my nickname is a shortened form of my name Marvey.
I feel so excited that I get to be part of the Hive family and this is me Introducing myself and before I go into details, I simply want to describe myself in one sentence.
I am an embodiment of creativity, uniqueness, optimism and undeniable beauty.
And with that said, I'd continue by saying I am from Abia state, Nigeria and I reside in abia State as well, i.e,Aba to be precise.
I am the third child (last born) of my family with two other siblings and my parents.
my whole life has revolved around Abia State.I was born in Aba in a teaching hospital on the 26th of June.
EDUCATION
I did my nursery School in Glorious throne model School at 32 ezimba street,ogbor hill,Aba.
I also started my primary in the school before I was transferred to another school because I had first School leaving examinations and my mum felt they were not competent enough so I transferred to Royal Rock Academy primary when I had just entered primary 5, graduated and elevated to the "all mighty secondary."(highschool)
then to me it was a dream come true because I was progressing and passing stages of life.
I spent six(6) years at Royal Rock secondary which is located at 8 ojebs close,ogbor hill.
So after the long,unforgettable and impactful 6 years, I finally graduated out of secondary school on the 8 of August 2023.
And I still cherish every moment I spent in high school!,from the memories, to my teachers and to all my friends. I actually miss them so so much!
And as it is now, I've written WAEC and NECO and my results were outstanding all thanks to God and to my teachers for all the knowledge and to my parents for the love and support.
Still on this year,I wrote JAMB(Joint Admissions Matriculation Board) for admission into the University of Calabar to study Nursing.
It has always been my passion to take care of people and to see to their well-being so I am chasing my dreams and I hope it all comes together and I am given the admission.
well I'm still hoping and waiting for their admission list and hope my name isn't it. And that's all about my education.
MY LIKES AND DISLIKES
I love interacting with intelligent,interesting and funny people cuz I am a fun person my friend can definitely attest to that.
I love being happy and enthusiastic, always hoping for the best and yes I get sad sometimes to but I always choose to be happy.
I've always believed that life is too short to stay sad/depressed. So I choose joy and I always will.
I actually like a lot of things but looking good is my top priority and I always try to look good anywhere I find myself cause appearance matters a lot and that is actually what people see when they look at you and not your good personality.
And I have the slogan that says "it is better to be overdressed than underdressed."
and when I look good,it boosts my confidence and charisma. I don't know about others.
Then about colours, I love the colour black and white.
The combo is beautiful and I love it and it can be styled in So many ways and still look good.
I also love brown as a brown skin girl😂
And all shades of brown are beautiful.
Then when it comes to food, I am quite the foodie.
Anytime I go to take food from the kitchen, my mum would remind me that others have not eaten ooo!
My love for food knows no bounds and spaghetti and Noddles stands as my true love.
This two dishes are my absolute favourite and I love to prepare them too! and I think of different ways to prepare them and each time its like something new and out of the ordinary.
HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE
About one week ago,my close Friend texted me WhatsApp and asked me this:"hey Marveyy, why not do what you love most and get paid for it."
Immediately I saw this text,I was captivated and curious and I wanted to know more!
so you explained to me the basics and I understood I wanted to join instantly,and here I am!
And I want to express my profound gratitude to my boss for putting me through and helping me with the process of joining Hive,Sir I am beyond grateful.
And to my friend I am so so grateful. The Lord is your exceeding reward.
And ever since I started I have loved threading so much to the extent that I set the goal of threading twice or thrice a day because I mean persistence is key.
WHY I JOINED HIVE
I joined Hive because I came to an understanding that Hive is a community where I will get to blog, research,brainstorm and express myself thereby learning everyday and so far I love it.
Also, I joined hive because I would get rewarded for my writings,content and my work and for me it is an opportunity to utilize my writing skills.
I choose wholeheartedly to work for Hive.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion,my journey of joining this blogging platform,Hive, has been nothing short of an amazing experience. I am grateful for the invaluable opportunities and knowledge that this platform has offered.
And also to a vibrant community of like-minded people who have shown me their support and encouragement thank you so much!
