Good morning crypto enthusiasts I trust you are all safe and well and chugging along nicely. I have some good news and a question I would like to pose to you all one that seeing we are building bridges why not start with the actual community it will serve.
As you might be aware at current I am still awaiting my legal plan but I have started developing bridges for SKIPPY laying out the foundations for what will be in my opinion a great service and product.
I'm trying to figure out how to launch and I looked at the Decentralised Hive Fund (DHF) which was something I was considering but after careful consideration and assessment of the projects it maybe a situation of who you know to get stuff funded rather than actually getting something funded. Also need, is Skippy going to be popular? Not too sure.
Pylon Pool
Great news, Pylon Pool on Terra (Luna) Network is taking us on board! LoL no, not yet not sure. I make that joke because they laid out some pretty easy requirements not knowing they were talking to someone who could lift... and A LOT!. Hahahaha who said weight lifting wasn't going to lead to something?
I am still in discussions with them and I am also looking at StarTerra and just to be clear here I am not offering a financial service I am building bridges across multiple chains so Skippy can move freely across in and out of all over the place without resistance.
Airdrop
In my recent article I said I was against airdrops and I very much still am but I am starting to have second thoughts as the more I speak to people the more it is expected.
One thing that I can do, as many of you are aware Skippy is also available on BSC network which Pancake Swap will allow you to do what you like with Skippy. I do not own Pancakeswap it is not my exchange they are decentralised. What I can do is provide an incentive for people who buy swap.skp on Hive engine with an airdrop of BSC Skippy.
Of course this will mean I will need to increase the BSC Liquidity Pool which I would be happy to do. But airdrops hurt, there will be people that dump and that tends to lower liquidity. I also need to be conscious of ASIC regulations so I want to be really clear here. Skippy is not a financial service and there is a plan to make it one which can be accessed on our website but we are not at that stage yet.
Fees
The primary focus at current is completing the BSC and Hive Bridge which means having a Beeswap LP created and stocked as well as increasing the BSC LP. Unfortunately all other networks to create your own LP is FREE but not on Hive where it costs 1000 Bee just to have a diesel pool which than enables me to provide LP.
So I need not your money but your Hive to make this happen and I am willing to make a trade off (even though it will hurt but we can build back slowly) I am thinking of doing a BSC airdrop to those who have bought Skippy off Hive Engine at a ratio of 3 BSC Skippy per 10 Hive Skippy (swap.skp). As this is a community project I want to put it to the group first.
It is also important to note that the next bridge after BSC - Hive will be Terra (Luna) Network which if this goes successful then I would look at providing a Terra Skippy airdrop.
As this is a community project I really wanted to put it to you, the people to decide if the airdrop would suite you better of if I should continue to try and find a launchpad.
If you're interested I do want to provide ample time for people to have a fair entry so please head over and create a FREE Hive account which will give you access to Hive Engine and you can swap your free hive earned from blogging to tokens on Hive Engine. Again I want to reiterate the fact I am not seeking fiat money I will be seeking Hive because I need to use it to get the Liquidity Position up and get some Bee to complete this side of the bridge work before moving onto the next infrastructure development to Terra (Luna) Network.
Hopefully in fairness, this is providing enough time for people to head over to Hive and look into bridged Skippy listed as (swap.skp).
