Then again for users like Hive account@jjmusa2004 I've never seen him post anything that wasn't worth an update so why not just set it to auto?

As for the GLD coin itself you are right, buying it for votes is just plain silly. I have learned a lot from developing the coin though. Very good learning experience that I wouldn't recommend for anyone :D
