I had wanted to just skip writing this but I came across another picture that pushed my fingers to the keyboard so bear with me as I rant about this, it's the only thing I can do about it and still go back to start using the currency since I would need cash after all.
I saw the update on discord first that Nigerian new currency is out and shamelessly, I got excited to see what it's like but that excitement was short lived. This is what I saw... The old and new currency of my beloved country.
I'm almost sure I'm not the only one thinking of it this way, what's the difference between the old and new currency? For me, it's the ink usage and I can't express how much disappointed I am realising this. I updated on my status with this image of the currency a line which I'll share here too

Someone actually made a joke about the currency that it must have been done by a lecturer that was good with Gram staining in Microbiology, I couldn't stop laughing at that. Well, it is what it is... This is Nigerian new currency.
And now, to the most shocking and annoying part of this redesigning.
The line of currency on the left is our old currency before this one that is about to be changed to a new one... It was what we used during the early 2000s and I remember how hectic it was to get rid of the coins that were being used to get a hold of this currency.
Now, another is about to happen but for a currency that seem exactly like that old one from the 2000s or is it just my eyes?
A reincarnation of an old currency... I agree with this lol. This whole thing is getting interesting but most importantly, I'm not liking it one bit.
I heard some minutes ago that Nigerians want to protest against the redesigned currency but I'm almost sure that it will all go in vain so I'm crossing my mind that I'll soon start using this currency.
Same value, more ink and reincarnated looks... We move.
