Well, I'm not against helping people out with a little money like that when they forced places to close down and whatnot.
But the issue I take is that the math doesn't add up with the money the government gave out. They passed a bill for 5 trillion, but then only gave like 300 billion out to people, the rest went who knows where
Probably less than the 300 billion estimate I made up honestly because it was based on your income, and it only went to people who filed taxes so way less I'm sure
If they gave the $1200 to every person, it would be like 420 billion
A far cry from the 5 trillion
If the same people who got the $1200 would have got an equal share of the 5 trillion it would have been closer to $30k per person
But people so dumb they were like WOO $1200, and they can't fathom how much a trillion dollars is.
