Maybe we should go ahead and coin the term Xfor(ce)! Ha ha just kidding, but seriously...
A few days ago, I started an initiative of committing to doing 3 comments for every post I made. I announced the initiative on my first post on leofinance, and today, we have our first official taker, . Others have committed to doing it, but
is the first to use the #xfor1 tag.
The #xfor1 tag, as he explains, represents x number of comments for 1 post. In his case and mine, we are doing 3 for 1 meaning for every one post we make, we are committing to making 3 meaningful comments. What's a meaningful comment? Well, that is subjective, but for me, I would say just something to let the author know you read their post. So things like "Great post" wouldn't count.
#xfor1 is for everybody. It's flexible to allow you to do whatever works with your schedule. This means you can commit to doing 2 for 1, 4 for 1 or even 5 for 1. Whatever you're comfortable doing. It also spans across all kinds of posts in all kinds of communities. Basically, anybody can do this and apply it to any of your current efforts. I urge you all to do it within your own communities.
In reading a lot of posts around here, one theme seems to keep popping up in my mind. "What a time to be alive." I hope to look back on these years and be proud of what I was able to accomplish. It is my hope that initiatives like the #xfor1 and others help to bring value to this blockchain and the world in general. I'm proud to be one of the first members of the xfor(ce), along with and
.
This post adheres to the #3for1 initiative to spur engagement. This means that when I made this post, I found 3 other similar posts or posts in the same community and gave them a meaningful comment. If you would like to join the #3for1, #2for1, #4for1, #xfor1 initiative, simply comment on the work of others when making your post, the edit the post with the appropriate tag. Hit me up if you have any questions.
