Shiny aren't they! Look like gold don't they!
I had heard of these online but had never seen them in person but I managed to get some at Anarchapolco. What a great concept and how money should be, not some digits to be manipulated on a screen nor pieces of paper with a promised said value.

IMG...is just that, its paper, and is worth nothing. It easy to give a population a stack of papers and say that it has value - the giver has control of it all the time, they can make it worthless over night and leave a nation stranded.
Government would never let folk have these notes that contain pure gold in, because it will forever have value and not only in the country they want to control but also they could use it anywhere on the planet, gold is gold.
So these badboys each contain a fraction of 24 carat gold, and have different nominations according to gold contained in them. I got the smaller nominations so they can be used easier in the future. I always thought that an ounce of gold is better in 30 x 1 g pieces than in a round because how can you buy small things in a Utopian future with ounces without robbing yourself bigtime.. you cant.
The lowest nomination is 1
I got some 1's, 2 x 5's and one x 10 gold backed notes.
Of course, the backs must be just Gold, which they are!
I didn't see any post on Hive about these, am I the only Hivian with them? Surely Not!
