Online wallet or electronic wallet these days are very helpful to every one of us. The transaction gets faster with less effort and less delay. When the payment takes place on the internet a lot of people are thankful. Even when you are at home, or everywhere when you forget to pay your bills you can pay it easily. Though the disadvantages if you are here in the Philippines is the slow connection of the internet and most of the rural places are still not reachable by the internet; We are all aware how important the internet is with these online wallets or e-wallets.
Now, there are many wallet apps or e-wallets these days. Some are just not being recognized by the Filipinos. Specifically, the crypto wallets, which are not fully exposed to the Philippines. It's just my own observation, if we are going to ask 1 to 10 Filipinos about crypto. Perhaps only 1 knows about crypto but not knowledgeable enough. For sure Bitcoin will come into their minds, still not bad because it's cryptocurrency.

GCASH AND COINS.PH are the wallet apps popular in the country.
Though coins.ph exists first, I could say gcash beat it in popularity because of many users. Both these apps can buy loads which become convenient to everyone. It's easier and simpler to buy loads through gcash because basically this app wallet was made by one of the networks here in the Philippines. So buying loads in this app is easy peasy, it's like someone feeds a food to your mouth.

Gcash becomes popular to Filipinos because using it is no hassle. As I said, feeding food to someone; the settings in sending money, buying loads can be found easily. What I disliked gcash is when you're trying to cash out your money. Unlike coins.ph that most of the money remittances, money grams or any other claiming company for money are their partners. You will not be afraid if you want to cash out your money anytime and in fact that's what I've been doing in withdrawing hive.
Now, let me compare gcash to coins.ph.
Gcash only accepts pesos or Philippines money while coins.ph accepts pesos and cryptocurrencies. In fact, they're accepting BTC, BCH, XRP, and some more. You should consider using this app because it's very handy in terms of crypto things.
Gcash can send money to other gcash users while coins.ph pays 10 pesos in sending money. Though the transaction time for the both of them are the same, fast.
Gcash is easy to open and does not need a faster or stable connection. Unlike coins.ph that it's a bit heavier app that needs a faster connection.
Gcash only accepts pesos while coins.ph accepts pesos and cryptocurrencies.
Gcssh cash out is hard because most of the time you need people who ask you to send money so you will be paid through cash. While coins.ph cash out is very easy because of the number of remittances accepting transactions through coins.ph.
CONCLUSIONS:
Of course, I prefer using coins.ph compared to gcash. I can use it in withdrawing hives because it accepts cryptocurrencies. Though not just because of that, the remittances who are their partners. Why would I use gcash when what I can do to that app will can to coins.ph and even more. If you're a Filipino and having difficulties cashing out your hive in the Philippines. By the way I have a tutorial here for you to understand more how to send money using @blocktrades.us.
