Centralized companies will always look out for their own first before they answer the community.
The latest ish littering the compound of our clean crypto jungle is one that's relatively riveting and also serves as a sermon to many about crypto and centralization.
You've heard about the Reddit rug pull, right?
Surprised?
I'm not. You? Still yet, it shouldn't surprise us because this type of ish is bound to happen when crypto is mixed with centralization. For example, when banks start issuing digital currency. You should know that just like it's happening with Reddit, it's bound to happen with any bank that issues digital currency tagged as crypto.
However, many fail to read between the lines when they construct their conclusions with what's a decentralized, and what is not.
What is Reddit?
We know centralized companies is a system we've tried and tested for generations. It served its time, which doesn't serve the little man and the average Joe.
We should all know this
I bet many Reddit users are in shock at the news about the discontinuation of the Reddit platform's crypto service that has been existing since the Covid period.
I think during COVID, many crypto projects were just starting and showing strong signs of a boom. For this reason, Reddit took a chance to attract crypto users and also, the new money.
It's all about the money

So it appears that before the Reddit announcements, there were three large moon(crypto)sells.
Apparently, reports deems it to be from the mods on Reddit, which strongly suggests that they got the news about the situation before the community did.
This is unfortunate because the little man wasn't considered nor informed beforehand. The users will no doubt feel cheated. The fact that the mods were able to get out of the market before any of them (community members) had a chance shoes how centralized and corrupt their system is.
That would never happen with Hive. Because we are all mods. Have has no founder. But Reddit does.
It's safe to say it's a rug pull- but it's one that's bound to happen

Yo no. ¿Y tú? Aún así, no debería sorprendernos porque este tipo de situaciones están destinadas a ocurrir cuando se mezcla la criptomoneda con la centralización. Por ejemplo, cuando los bancos comienzan a emitir moneda digital. Debes saber que, al igual que está sucediendo con Reddit, ocurrirá con cualquier banco que emita moneda digital etiquetada como criptomoneda.
Sin embargo, muchos no logran leer entre líneas cuando construyen sus conclusiones sobre lo que es descentralizado y lo que no lo es.
¿Qué es Reddit?
Sabemos que las empresas centralizadas son un sistema que hemos probado y testeado durante generaciones. Cumplió su tiempo, lo cual no beneficia al hombre común y al ciudadano promedio.
Todos deberíamos saber esto.
Apuesto a que muchos usuarios de Reddit están en shock por la noticia sobre la discontinuación del servicio criptográfico de la plataforma Reddit que existía desde el período de la Covid.
Creo que durante la COVID, muchos proyectos criptográficos estaban comenzando y mostrando fuertes signos de auge. Por esta razón, Reddit aprovechó la oportunidad para atraer a usuarios de criptomonedas y también, nuevo dinero.
Todo se trata del dinero.

Parece que antes de los anuncios de Reddit, hubo tres grandes ventas de criptomonedas.
Al parecer, los informes indican que fueron los moderadores de Reddit, lo que sugiere fuertemente que obtuvieron noticias sobre la situación antes que la comunidad.
Esto es lamentable porque no se tuvo en cuenta ni se informó previamente al hombre común. Los usuarios sin duda se sentirán estafados. El hecho de que los moderadores pudieran salir del mercado antes que cualquiera de ellos (miembros de la comunidad) tuviera una oportunidad muestra lo centralizado y corrupto que es su sistema.
Eso nunca sucedería con Hive. Porque todos somos moderadores. Hive no tiene fundador. Pero Reddit sí.
Es seguro decir que es un rug pull, pero es uno que está destinado a ocurrir.
