Hello, Hivers and Lions. As you probably already know, today is May 1st. So, just as I’ve done in previous months, today I’m sharing my Monthly Progress Report on Hive. In this post, I’ll talk about all the milestones I’ve achieved this past April. I’m excited because I’ve reached a couple of goals I set for myself in my last Monthly Report. However, I feel I still have a long way to go to reach my main goal on Hive.
As I mentioned last month, I’m really sorry I didn’t start writing these reports much earlier. Especially during my first year on Hive, given everything I’ve accomplished since then. There are several periods during my two years on Hive that I wish I had analyzed better and in more detail in a report like this so that I could compare them with other periods when things didn’t go as well for me, such as late last year and early this year.
Hola, Hivers y Lions. Como ya deben de saber, hoy es primero de mayo. Así que, como se ha hecho en meses anteriores, hoy les traigo mi Reporte Mensual de mi Progreso en Hive. En esta publicación les hablaré de todos los logros que he conseguido en este pasado mes de abril. Estoy emocionado ya que he alcanzado un par de metas que me he propuesto en mi pasado Reporte Mensual. Sin embargo, considero que aún me falta mucho para alcanzar mi objetivo principal en Hive.
Como ya les he contado el mes pasado, siento mucho no haberme propuesto hacer estos reportes mucho tiempo antes. Sobre todo en mi primer año en Hive debido a todo lo que he logrado desde entonces hasta ahora. Hay varias épocas en mis dos años ya en Hive que desearía haber analizado mejor y más detalladamente en un reporte como este para así poderlo comparar con otras épocas en las que no me fue tan bien, como lo fue a finales del año pasado y principios de este año.

But anyway, this isn’t the time to dwell on the past; it’s time to set new goals, achieve new milestones, and multiply our earnings on Hive. Especially now that the price of $HIVE hasn’t managed to stay above $0.06. Now that it’s hovering around $0.05, it’s the PERFECT time to be more active than ever and earn rewards on Hive. I say this because the lower the value of Hive’s native token, the more tokens you receive as rewards.
What people are saying now—that “there’s no money in Hive”—is completely false, and I can confirm this from my own experience. There are still projects up and running, there are still curators and whales curating and rewarding, and there are still active and growing communities. Nothing has changed since the beginning of this year and the last $HIVE all-time high. In fact, everything is more active than ever, as this phase—so momentous and unprecedented in Hive—has motivated many to create and do incredible things.
Pero bueno, no es momento de lamentarse por cosas del pasado, es momento de alcanzar nuevas metas, nuevos logros y multiplicar nuestras ganancias en Hive. Sobre todo ahora que el precio del $HIVE no ha conseguido mantenerse en los $0,06 centavos. Ahora que se encuentra entre los $0,05 centavos es un momento PERFECTO para ser más activo que nunca y conseguir recompensas en Hive. Esto lo digo porque, a menor valor de la moneda nativa de Hive, mayor cantidad de monedas recibes en recompensas.
Eso que dice la gente ahora de que “no hay plata en Hive” es completamente falso y lo puedo corroborar con mi propia experiencia. Aún hay proyectos funcionando y trabajando, aún hay curadores y ballenas curando y recompensando y aún hay comunidades activas y en crecimiento. Nada ha cambiado desde principios de este año y el último ATL de $HIVE. Es más, todo sigue más activo que nunca ya que esta etapa -tan trascendental y nunca antes vista en Hive- ha motivado a muchos a poder crear y hacer cosas increíbles.

We're Halfway There
One of those “incredible things”—as it might seem to many—is for a user like me to become a Dolphin on Hive this year. That’s one of my biggest medium- to long-term goals. I set this goal for myself at the beginning of this year, and right now I feel like I have a better chance of achieving it. But to do this, I have to redouble my efforts and multiply my rewards to get a result that helps me reach that goal. However, let’s just say that for now, I’m not that far off.
As you can see above, on May 1st, I reached exactly 3,500 HP. This was one of the goals I set for myself in the April monthly report. With this amount of HP, I feel like we’re halfway there to reaching the dream total of 6,200 HP and officially becoming a Dolphin on Hive. But to do that, I still need about 2,700 HP, which I feel I can achieve this year, provided I don’t lose the momentum I’ve been building lately, of course.
Una de esas “cosas increíbles” que pueden llegar a parecer para muchos, es que un usuario como yo logre conseguir ser Delfin en Hive en este año. Esa es una de mis mayores metas a mediano/largo plazo. Dicha meta me la he propuesto a principios de este año y ahora mismo siento que tengo más posibilidades de alcanzarla. Pero para esto tengo que redoblar esfuerzos y multiplicar mis recompensas para obtener un resultado que me ayude a alcanzar dicho objetivo. Sin embargo, digamos que por el momento no estoy tan lejos.
Como pueden llegar a ver arriba, justamente este primero de mayo logré la justa cantidad de 3500 HP. Esta era una de las metas que me propuse en el pasado reporte mensual de abril. Ya con esta cantidad de HP siento que estamos a mitad del camino para lograr la soñada cantidad de 6200 HP y así conseguir ser Delfín de manera oficial en Hive. Pero para esto aún me faltan como 2700 HP, cosa que siento que puedo conseguirlo este mismo año, si es que no pierdo el ritmo que he estado teniendo últimamente, claro.

Another goal I set for myself last month was to reach 71.5 Reputation. And yes, we’ve easily reached that number, even though I had a less active week this month due to the “TOPs” posts I publish quarterly, which take up a lot of my time. As I write this, my Reputation stands at 71.54, which is excellent. So, yes, we’re also halfway to reaching 72 Reputation. If I achieve that this May, the next step will be to reach 73 Reputation by July or August.
Otra de las metas que me propuse el mes pasado fue la de conseguir los 71.5 de Reputación. Y si, también hemos alcanzado fácilmente dicha cantidad, aún cuando tuve una semana no tan activa en este mes debido a las publicaciones de “TOPs” que hago trimestralmente y que me consumen mucho tiempo. A la hora de escribir esto, mi Reputación está en 71.54, lo cual es excelente. Así que, si, también estamos a mitad del camino para lograr los 72 de Reputación. Si lo consigo en este mes de mayo, ya lo siguiente será conseguir los 73 de Reputación para julio o agosto.

Oh, and as has become customary lately, I also did my monthly Power Up today to participate in the well-known Hive Power Up Day. This time, I only staked 18 HIVE because I wanted to reach 3,500 HP. I don’t usually participate in these events, but HPUD is different because I see it as a sign of commitment and growth on Hive. Obviously, this doesn’t make a huge difference, especially since my KE is still 1.86, but with this post and the future Snaps and Comments that I plan to share 100% in HP, I hope to lower it a bit this month.
Ah, y como ya se ha vuelto costumbre últimamente, hoy también hice mi Power Up mensual para así participar en el conocido Hive Power Up Day. Esta vez solo coloqué en ahorros (Stake) 18 HIVE debido a que quería completar los 3500 HP. Normalmente no participo en estos eventos, pero el HPUD es diferente ya que lo siento como una muestra de compromiso y crecimiento en Hive. Obviamente, esto no hace una gran diferencia, sobre todo en mi KE que sigue siendo de 1.86, pero con esta publicación y los futuros Snaps y Comentarios que pienso compartir al 100% en HP, pienso reducirlo un poco este mes.

My Goals for May
Aside from minimizing my account’s KE as much as possible this month with Snaps—thanks to the latest hSnaps update from 
Another advantage hSnaps gives me is the ability to share not only Snaps, but also Threads (InLeo), Waves (Encency), and Moments (Liketu). So I plan to be more active sharing short content on these different platforms throughout the month of May. Another thing I wanted to tell you, now that I’ve mentioned InLeo, is that I recently managed to pay for InLeo Premium. So I hope that Premium helps me achieve my goals this month, in addition to getting better benefits and the occasional reward, maybe.

As for my goals for this month of May, I plan to first reach 4,000 HP, as well as finally hit 72 Reputation. Also, if possible, by June I should have a KE of less than 1.8. Another thing I’d like to achieve this May is 200 followers on Hive. Previously, I didn’t place much importance on this, as I prioritized having followers who were active, well-known, and/or fellow niche members on Hive. But this time I want to change that and plan to expand my social circle further.
After all, we’re talking about a social ecosystem like Hive, so this really should be one of my main goals. Despite the current situation with the price of $HIVE, the decline, and the changes to the reward system on Hive, there are still active users and even new users who share and thrive here. So, as a user who’s been on Hive for over two years now, it’s my duty to guide them through this vast ecosystem as well. Let’s hope for better days on Hive, so let’s not lose momentum and stay active.
En cuanto a mis objetivos, para este mes de mayo, pienso conseguir primero los 4000 en HP, además de alcanzar al fin los 72 de Reputación. También, si es posible, ya para el mes de junio debería tener menos de 1.8 de KE. Otra cosa que me gustaría conseguir este mes de mayo son los 200 seguidores en Hive. Anteriormente no le daba mucha importancia a esto ya que priorizaba más que cada usuario que me siguiera fuese activo, conocido y/o compañero de nicho en Hive. Pero esta vez quiero cambiar eso y pienso expandir más mi círculo social.
Al fin y al cabo, estamos hablando de un ecosistema social como lo es Hive, así que esto debe de ser uno de mis principales objetivos, la verdad. A pesar de la situación que hay con el precio de $HIVE, la disminución y el cambio en el sistema de recompensas en Hive; siguen habiendo usuarios activos y hasta usuarios nuevos que comparten y hacen vida en este lugar. Así que, como un usuario con más de dos años ya en Hive es mi deber el guiarlos también en este enorme ecosistema. Esperemos mejores días en Hive, así que no perdamos el ritmo y mantengámonos activos.
