Another month down for 2022 and time to have a look at my growth for February.
I finished off last year strongly after twelve busy months of activity and growth. People here have shown time and time again that effort and consistency will get you to your goals. Any of the successful people that i have known on hive are the ones who have kept turning up and putting in the work on a daily basis.
For me this is a job and has to be treated like one.
An interesting, fun and challenging job but crypto is now my only source of income so i need to keep earning. Luckily, I have been able to survive without tapping into my hive earnings so far which is brilliant as this is my long term future in this account.
That is why these targets are so important for me as they will make sure that i can keep doing this for years to come by growing to a high enough level.
I haven't bought any crypto with fiat in a long long time so all of this is now organic growth from putting in the time.
The biggest problem over the past year was trying to do too many things and chase too many targets at the same time.
This year is going to be different as I will be focusing mainly on my Hive, Leo and Splinterlands above all else. Hive is only growing stronger over time and it will be needed to power everything else that gets built on chain over the next few years. So that is where the focus is for this year.
We will be looking at the next hardfork in a couple of months with RC delegation and hopefully HAF finished and ready to go. That will be a big plus for the eco-system as it opens the door to a lot more apps and development. That means the need for more RC and hive becomes more in demand.
Goals for 2022
This year I will keep it simple and focus on the most important parts of the eco-system.

I'm still all in with Splinterlands but that is working away by itself for now. I'll keep my gaming separate from my earning.
HIVE for future investment and HBD for safety and security in the long run. I am hoping to really bring this number up over the next few years so this is only step one of that goal.

Thoughts on February.
Very happy with the strong growth for the month and especially the consistent earning from curation and from writing.
You can see from the hivestats chart how well this has been going even during a particularly busy month for me personally.
I managed this growth without making a post every day and without making as many comments as i would like to from being so tied up.
With my efforts compounding every month it gives me a lot of hope going forward that i can reach my three targets regardless of how ambitious they seem to be right now.
There is no point in setting easy goals or else there would be no fun in the challenge.
My main focus for this month will be to vary my posts across the various tribes such as sport, cinema and splinterlands.
This has been a particularly good source fo content as the splinterlands team host two weekly blogging contests with strong upvotes for good content. It's definitely with checking out there weekly challenges if you want to bump your earnings.
I also managed to earn over $30 in HBD interest for this month which will be constantly on the increase over the year as my savings grow.
Then LEO has been an other amazing month for me with earning, buying and leasing to increase my stake. It's the best time to get stacking as these prices won't last forever. I'm sure that we will see the price of LEO over $1 at some stage in the near future.
Onto the next month and I'll try to improve on this one as a short term goal.
