Would you like to earn crypto 24/7 for free? Is it worth setting up a faucet collector bot? Lets find out!
A month ago, I read about faucet bots a lot but couldn't find any up-to-date reviews about it. I kept searching and found the Faucet Collector. The bot is script-based, meaning you can write your own scripts if you want to. The bot offers several scripts for nearly all relevant faucets on the internet. The purchase process was easy. You set up an account and pay the one year license to a desired address with BTC, LTC, DASH, Mastercard and several other methods. It was pretty fast and easy. Now you can download the bot, but you need some credits on top. Those credits will be used for Captchas or pictures the bot has to solve, in order to get crypto from the faucets. The Faucet Collector offers this CaptchaBot aswell. You can bank up your credits, insert the API-Key and everything is set up. For more details I recommend you to read the tutorial.
I've started to search some scripts and installed them. Cointiply, Pipeflare, FreeNem, FreeEthereum, FreeBitcoin, FreeLitecoin, FreeCardano, ... were the scripts I tried for one month now. My laptop ran 24/7 without any faults and so did the bot. One day something went wrong, the bot wasn't claiming faucets anymore. I checked the notifications - the CaptchaCredits were empty.. At the beginning my balance was 8$ and with a rate of 2$/1000 Captchas I would have got 4000Captchas.
The FaucetCollector page said "2166 submitted captchas", so I wrote a ticket on discord. There the Admin told me hCaptchas are not counted at the website - he showed me a screenshot and all together I paid 8$ for 3210 hCaptchas, 1491 reCaptchas and 675 image Captchas - that matched with the prices.
Is it worth it?
For me the answer is NO! I managed to get ~1$ at Cointiply, ~0.5$ at Pipeflare and the rest added up to about 1.5USD. With my initial investment of 12$ for the license and 8$ for credits I made -17$ without electricity and wasting of my laptop. I still like the idea of those bots - the opinions are very difficult here - and maybe in ten years your collected cryptodust would be worth 10x, but right now I don't feel it. It was a nice experience for me and I hope you learned something new today :)
