Several weeks back we talked about a deep conversation that was ongoing between PlatON and Keystone wallet and how both team planned on unveiling their various cooperation as regards to implementation and utilization of both features available on PlatON and Keystone, this was made known during Hong Kong FinTech Week 2023 and happy to say the above has been implemented and already in play.
PlatON is an open financial infrastructure with privacy computing as its technical feature, initiated and promoted by LatticeX Foundation.
Keystone is an open-source airgap hardware wallet that utilizes an embedded system, committed to maximizing security against potential threats, minimizing dependence, reducing human errors, and eliminating single points of failure and improving interoperability, providing users with an easy-to-operate digital asset cold storage solution.
This cooperation will usher in new changes regarding how users utilizes their various asset, owning a digital or rather a hardware wallet brings about new change on how one perceive their investment, studies have shown that users find it more easy to hold assets for a long period of time when stored in an hardware wallet than a software based wallet, due to the fact that they find it emotionally difficult or no willingness to actually carry out transactions from their hardware wallet unlike software where it is basically click to send. The latest cooperation might increase a higher withdraw of $LAT (the native token of PlatON) from centralized platform to the hardware wallet giving users the motive to hold LAT token for a longer duration rather than selling short term for profit making.
The above is a welcome development and the cooperation still go further than simply holding LAT token as Keystone users will be able to fully access all various platforms currently available and been developed on PlatON and this was made known via the recent and official tweet from PlatON Network under their x profile previously called Twitter.
