In Light of the ban on Crypto currencies in Nigeria, the federal government had unknowingly opened doors to Peer to Peer transactions.
Earlier this year the federal government of Nigeria felt, it is right to ban crypto currencies in the country so as to limit the deflation of the naira.
They are not seeing the problem. They rather decided to pay attention to things that ain't even in their control. Not knowing decentralization is in play here and blockchain is immutable.
The only limitation they could do was stop banks from running any transactions relating to Crypto currency.
But there are other means of transactions such as peer to peer, and Nigerians decided to maximize this medium of transactions and currently Nigeria is ranking in volumes of peer to peer transactions daily, on Binance, okex and other platforms that support peer to peer transactions.
Just like the country bonded together and said no to police brutality and ended Sars. Here we are again bonding to make our lives better with crypto currencies.
