Or maybe I should say "Stop pairing only with Bitcoin."
Which is better than saying it seems to me the fucking wrong goose.
I guess a couple of big spenders make some nice money on chains like Eth or Bitcoin
For them, it is easy to keep paying the fees they do and easy to chill for an hour for a transaction because they already got the golden goose.
Unfortunately, the majority which are likely the same people who vote, they are the losers and yet keep pumping money into projects on chains that are inherently anti-plebian.
Now usually I don't give two shits and it is fun to laugh at the whiney screams and every so often you can give a nod for one who lucked in on some token and to their mind at least made it.
As with all gambling they will lose it all and go back to the ditch they came from. It is still nice to give a nod though.
However, at times it gets rather irritating because the chain sentiment that only affects BTC and ETH and likely all EVM chains then affects the whole of crypto.
That makes it hard for projects like Hive, and others with high throughput to really ever come out of the shadow. Especially where the independent price is considered. I don't know if it really has an influence but it sure seems to me that because tokens are paired with BTC that BTC and their little gov game they are playing affects everything.
If a token like HIVE maybe insists on only ever being paired with stables then won't that detach it from the gossip market?
Anyhow, back to laughing at people crying over fees.
