I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.
Even without being asked, I use to ask myself before anyone else does that why am I unable to go past a certain number of broiler birds that I rear for business? Meanwhile, you will lot of Poultry owner being able to rear up to like 400 to 500 broiler birds basically which amount to the fact that they have the space to venture into such huge number to rear the birds.
The largest number of birds I have reared is 150 birds from day old to like seven weeks old at most, this is obviously because that's the space that's available for me to rear. The space can also contain 200 birds but It's only from day old to six weeks but the only problem is that what if I'm unable to supply on time where the birds longevity needs to extend to seven weeks. That's the space would be choked and won't be comfortable for them.
Furthermore, an overcrowded pen may leads to heat eruption and this might cause huge mortality rate that leads to huge loss as well. At a point, my Landlady once called my attention to maybe if I can be able to extend the space that can contain maybe like 250 birds but the issue with the land is that it's landslide and there is an underdeveloped building in front of the pen which has originally negates the idea of the extension of the pen. Finally, If I am to do any extension, I will have to move away and get new land.
