Hey beefriends! I believe this is my first post in the Leo Finance community, but I have been inspired by and
to start my own version of the 365 day saving challenge! :)
If you are unfamiliar with this, check it out here. Basically the idea is that you save an increasing amount every day, starting with a penny on day one and $3.65 on day 365. However, since if y'all know me y'all know I struggle to make ends meet and saving is difficult when you struggle to buy groceries, I'm going to do it a wee bit differently. First of all, I'm going to do it by putting HBD into savings. Secondly, I'm not going to tick off the amounts in order, but as I have them, so for instance, today I had $1.11 HBD sitting in my wallet so I bumped that to savings and checked off the $1.11 day for my day one. That way, on a day where I only have a small amount from curation rewards, I can drop in a few pennies, but on days where I have more because of a post payout, I can drop in more. Or at least, hopefully, that's how it will work. 😁
So here are my two charts (one to check off amounts, one to see what day I'm on):
What are my goals?
Well, aside from the ever-present goal of NOT struggling to make ends meet, I have always wanted to get a full-sized keyboard. So a keyboard is my goal! And the rest might go into Hive Power, EDS tokens, groceries ...who knows, we'll see what life is like a year from now. ;) And this is assuming I don't need to snatch some away to make rent one month out of desperation. But that's what savings are for, right? A cushion for life emergencies. But I'm hoping to keep it going and earn that 10% interest on HBD savings! 😃
So wish me luck! I'll see you next Saturday! :)
