I've been writing on both Hive and LeoFinance for a while now and I honestly admit it's disconcerting for me to try to be optimistic when I see so little progress on my account. I have even come to think (as I have already expressed in another post) that on these platforms there is favoritism towards certain accounts that are really supported by users who have great HP (such as whales and dolphins); but analyzing more deeply, I have understood that it is not like that, intead it is about something else here.
It is not about being optimistic or pessimistic, but about being realistic
The thing is that most of the people in Hive and LeoFinance (me included) try many times to be optimistic and write things in a positive snese, speaking well of these platforms; and talking about their great future potential and all the great path they have ahead. But other times, we are stunned by depression, seeing the few rewards we get and the little or no advance or progress that our accounts are making and then we become pessimists; and we begin to see Hive and LeoFinance through a negative lens, which it shouldn't be either.
Because Hive and LeoFinance really have great future potential, and this should encourage us here, because it's something really positive; but neither can we deny that there are many things that must be improved along the way, such as the distribution of rewards in the different Hive communities or in LeoFinance, and support for newbies; And that's the part that may seem negative, but it really isn't.
In other words, when I say that there are things that need to be improved in Hive and LeoFinance, I say it from a positive, constructive point of view. So this should not be seen as something negative; And even if it were seen that way, the fact is that they are still things that must be solved in the medium and long term so that these platforms can become as big and successful as they are destined to be.
In any case; It is not a question here of being blind optimists (bullish); nor of being recalcitrant pessimists (bearish), but of having the correct vision of things; and understand that LeoFinance and Hive are in constant construction and evolution, because both are very young projects (LeoFinance more than Hive) and therefore, we must be patient and dedicate ourselves to building and being what we are: Pioneers.
What is the correct approach to take in Hive and LeoFinance?
I have already said (in a previous post) that many people come to these platforms and end up leaving after 2 months when they do not see any progress; and I emphasize it, because it is not a lie, it is a great truth; but what I do correct here is the fact that I've said that they leave because they do not receive enough support from the dolphins and whales on the platform, because it is not true.
The great truth is that they drop out because they lack perseverance and because they have a wrong focus on these platforms. Because they have a different concept or idea between what these platforms really are and what they think they should be.
The problem is that what they think Hive and LeoFinance should already be, is what they want it to be (and what we all want these platforms to already be), that is, they want to get great rewards and for these platforms to already be big and successfuls. And this is kind of absurd at this point; and not because Hive and LeoFinance can't achieve it, because in fact, they have great future potential for it; but because both platforms and projects are still in very early stages.
That is, for Hive and LeoFinance to get to the point of being so successful that all (or almost all) of their users are appropriately rewarded every time they write something, it takes a lot of development, a lot of investment, and a lot of sustained growth. The way I perceive it, all this is going to be achieved gradually over time, but we must have patience and the correct approach.
And in this sense, in my opinion, the focus that we must have to be able to have patience writing and interacting on these platforms, and never abandon them until we achieve success, is to see them as they currently are; and not as we would like them to be. We can think how we want them to be, but only from the scope of what we are willing to persevere and interact with them to achieve it.
And something else, the correct approach is not, as many users think, that we must see our Hive and LeoFinance accounts as a business, and like any business, it will take time to bear fruit. Because although it is true that it is not an entirely wrong approach to see it this way, I think it is more useful to understand everything from another perspective.
Another perspective: Seeing these platforms as our children
It sounds a bit strange, I know, but from my point of view, it can be more useful and hopeful for us to see Hive and LeoFinance as if they were our children, instead of seeing them as businesses that we want to be profitable and that we are fighting to make them profitable in the short, medium and long term.
Even if you don't have children, dear reader, you should understand what I'm trying to say here. What I want to say is that we must see these platforms with the same benevolence and good spirits with which we would see our children in our life; and strive for these platforms to become truly important, just as responsible and truly conscientious parents (the good ones) do to their children, so that they grow up, be great, and succeed.
And what do responsible parents do when raising their children? Will he see them as if they were walking businesses? That is, are they waiting for they grow up so that they can receive money from them and recovery what they spent on them? Certainly there are parents that are like this, but good parents are not like that, they don't think like that and they don't raise their children with the sole intention of profiting from them as if it were a business.
Good parents seek, out of love, for their children to be successful, learn to fend for themselves and achieve greatness. For this, good parents strive and do everything to help their children grow and be big and strong; and they do it selflessly, without any kind of interest, but thinking about the future of their children.
And no doubt, when parents are good to their children and selflessly help them reach their full potential, they will receive help and rewards from this in the future, but not because it is mandatory, or because the parents have demanded it so, or They had some kind of interest in this being the case, but because children achieve so much financial success and feel so grateful to their parents that it is impossible for them not to reward them in some way.
What I am referring to here, in short, is the fact that we should not expect anything from Hive or LeoFinance when we write posts and interact on these platforms; that is, we should not expect rewards, or immediate success, or anything like that. Let's see these platforms as our children and be responsible parents.
And what does a responsible father do with respect to his children? A responsible father never abandons his children, but rather fights, makes an effort, perseveres and gives his best to help them grow, succeed and learn to fend for themselves. Without a doubt, those of us who are in Hive and LeoFinance today, writing, interacting, developing projects, etc., are the pioneers, the founding fathers and the architects or generators of the success of these platforms in the future. And so we must see it.
Remember, the correct approach is to see Hive and LeoFinance as our children. Because there is no other better way to see it. I admit that I have been very wrong in my approach to these platforms in the past, but I am still here writing today, and this has allowed me to see and understand all that I am commenting on now.
So we can be wrong in our perspective, that is, we can fall, get up, and fall again, but the important thing is we always get up one more time, and never give up our efforts. Because, just as we would do with our children in real life, the only thing we can and must do is persevere; and in perseverance we will understand the correct approach.
Due persevering, deep down, is the correct approach and the essence of everything, and therefore, seeing these platforms as our children, is the means that will allow us to never abandon them, until we see them built, and having all the success they deserve for being our children and for their enormous potential.
