This node running on phones was a hyped topic 2-3 years ago. I remember, any of the manufacturer even made phone for btc node running. If i remember well, even Ethereum had something like this. or just light? not sure. (and i don't know much about it) but it never really went big, or i missed it. (I don't see any revolutionary in it.)
Since there is no trx cost on Hive, and top20 harvest the rewards, how it will change anything?
The last part, your 5th point, I can see some positive results, but it won't be huge, at all.
The devs who are actually around, most of them doing their project as a part time thing, and all freaking slow, but cost a lot, no tools for them will change this fact.
For bringing new projects, devs, the DAO should give money to them, how all other blockchains doing it. (actually Hive, too. but they just keep feeding those, who already proven, they are very-very far from the worthy category. but they keep feeding their old projects, maintanance cost and free money given to them, meantime their projects are not sustainable at all, or not even ready.
They should give funds for new projects, devs (not in the way, how the DAO money is wasted nowadays here, but step-by-step trackable way). Need devs, new blood, who has background, previous results. They don't cost more what the actual ones, whom hardly can show up any real result in the last few years.
What i can translate from the "roadmap", no major thing will happen with Hive in the next 2 years (not tech side, not user side - definitely nothing what shows they want to reach masses). What is pretty unfortunate, but based on the few dozen whales previous activities, moves, it is not a surprise, at all!
I just remember, 2+ years ago the vsc thingy was advertised the same way. And what happened in practice, now that it is more or less ready? pretty much nothing
Top of that, bt didnt mention anything about his favorite moneywasting valueplan, and the constant onboarding failure for 100s of thousands $$$. What is the "roadmap" about that?
The inflation can be balanced only by the project's growth. And that's pretty much zero in Hive's case (especially active users, new, useful apps + money inflow case), in all aspect, since years.
