We live in a vastly changing environment, a world where someone who was once a baby will grow to be strong and later old with grey hair and the once ooth skin he or she once had as a child will later be looking old, wrinkled and fat.
Truly, the world we live in is a place where change is constant and the change which I picked interest in to share today is change in the technological sector.
India is a well known country regarded by millions of people from different continents around the world for their resilience and strong belief but little did some people know that India is journeying fast towards becoming a tech giant, the likes of which the world has ever seen known.
Come to think about it for a moment. A vast majority of Indians who travelled abroad and got admitted into foreign universities choose to study engineering courses and it is not surprising that today India is able to produce jet engines, rockets and other mechanical and electronic gadgets one can think of.
Most of these equipments are things we need in our homes for more comfortability or even luxury.
In this post I want to explore how Ai and technology are changing daily lives in India today. Firstly, I'll like to start with the beginning of digital payments in India which led to cashless revolution.
Thanks to UPI (unified payments interface) India has become among the world's leading digital transaction empire and can no longer be classified as in the olden days when India was running on cash heavy economy.
Even today in India AI helps in fraud detection, instant capturing and verification in most sectors especially as it concerns identification and security of the people within the nation. Secondly, the application of AI in education sectors in India has greatly changed the way Indians learns. Nowadays even some difficult assignments can easily be done through the use of chatgpt and other available AI’s.
India is well populated and there is a high presence of young people within the country. Sending these young generations to school will help secure the future of Indians and from my experience so far I know that most Indians are good in mathematics both the educated and uneducated because even an average store keeper or a trader knows how to calculate theironey well not to lose in business.
Thirdly, India has also applied the use of AI in health sectors in order to save lives, India doesn't seem to have much doctors to meet with the growing health challenges of people within the nation and so it was a good idea, the implementation of AI in well established Indian medical centres made a whole lot of differences. For instance, the use of telemedicine and chat bots, AI powered diagnostics and wearable devices that monitors heart rates, oxygen levels and sugar levels in due time.
Also there is also availability of AI powered devices which alerts patients of possible health risks or complications ahead of time before it's too late.
In India I've seen the use of AI in agricultural sector especially the use of drones for monitoring and watering farmlands. Even with the help of AI, Accurate weather condition can be known ahead of time. Lastly I've noticed India's progress in the area of entertainment using AI and that is the one that blows my mind the most because I love Indian entertainments right from my childhood. I must confess, India is really making waves and rising higher above some other countries who may have been considered themselves better before.
In conclusion: The proper use and application of AI in many important sectors in India has greatly helped in rapid improvement and development but care should also be taken so that AI will not end up denying most citizens of theor ability to do their jobs because if AI is applied in every sector, many will end up losing their job. Some who remained jobless may come up with evil ways to start making money to feed themselves and family but I wish India well because I love the progress made so far.
