MY RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH AIRDROPS

Earlier today I had a similar experience to that which Hive account@starstrings01 had some few days back. He made a post about his experience with an airdrop worth $50,000 USD. You might not understand how massive that would have been to him, but yeah, i do. Because that is worth a fortune when converted to the Nigerian Naira.

Yesterday, a friend of mine also shared a link to an airdrop worth about $2000 USD, which is gotten for referring 20 people alongside the cryptocurrency of 100CAP. At first it seemed unreal to me but for the fact that it was publicized by major Whatsapp media groups around, i decided to make sure such good thing doesn't pass me by.

Why not? Opportunities are meant to be pounced on,right? Yeah. That's what i did and i felt happy that i could possibly make money from no effort at all. Some hours passed and i had successfully referred 20 people.Time to recieve my reward,right. I did all i was asked to do,downloading of a wallet and all but as we would say here in Nigeria,'mo je breakfast' which is a slang meaning one has been let down, heartbroken or left dissapointed.

Therefore i was moved to pounce on this challenge from Hive account@starstrings01 which is supported by Hive account@aliento, since i can understand how he must have felt.

Ok to the questions asked.

1. What would you do with an airdrop of $50,000?

2. If you are given a Hive power of 100,000 Hive, how exactly do you plan on using it?

1. WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH AN AIRDROP OF $50,000

The simple answer is INVESTING. And when i say investing, i mean in CRYPTOCURRENCIES. Why?
Robben G. Allen once asked a question that challenged me. He asked "How many millionaires do you know who have become wealthy by investing in savings accounts? And then he told us He rest his case."

Although one has to be careful not to get caught up in the hype of any coin, i believe i have sufficient knowledge on blockchain technology and can discern the sustainability of a coin.

I will definitely invest in Hive, it's a great project with good white paper. I also wouldn't have problems investing in Leo. Bitcoin and Ethereum will also be a reasonable investment. I will also take advantage of the volatility of various volatile coins and increase the money per time.

2. IF YOU ARE GIVEN A HIVE POWER OF 100,000 HIVE, HOW EXACTLY DO YOU PLAN TO USE IT?

The answer to this question is also quite simple;- GROW THE COMMUNITY. And when i mean community, i don't mean a specific community, i mean the whole Hive blog and all of its sisters.

Big kudos to the content curators here, they do an amazing job, from Hive account@appreciator to Hive account@theycallmedan Hive account@ocdb and a whole lot of others. I appreciate you for constantly seeking out quality to up-vote.

But then, most times lots of quality posts receive little or no votes at all, as a result of the pace at which the blog is growing. Therefore there is a need for more people who can encourage and incentivize the newbies to compensate their time and efforts it creating high quality post.

Therefore if I'm given 100k HP or any thing of sort(less or more), i guess Hiving will become more of a job and lifestyle as i would spend a lot of my time here and up-voting quality contents . It will also encourage me to bring people from my country Nigeria to join. I will make sure that i play my part in sufficiently building the next big thing in the blogging, writing and social media world.
