The proposal to distribute 5 million UNI tokens to users interacting with Uniswap through third-party platforms is gaining popularity.
For the second initiative in the history of Uniswap, almost 26 million participants voted, against - 1.26 million.
If adopted, 5.05 million UNI will be distributed among 12,619 wallet addresses that have interacted with MyEtherWallet, Argent, Dharma, DeFi Saver, Nuo, Eidoo, Opyn, Furucombo, Monolith and Rebalance services until September 1. Each will receive 400 Uniswap platform tokens.
The initiator of the proposal is the Dharma landing protocol. Voting will end tomorrow, October 31. A quorum of 40 million votes is required to accept the proposal.
Dharma also spearheaded the first-ever vote in Uniswap history to lower the minimum threshold for submission of protocol governance proposals.
Voting ended on October 19 at 9:57 am (GMT + 3). 403,241 of 40 million votes (1%) were not enough to approve the proposal.
As a reminder, in September, Uniswap distributed 113 million UNI tokens. At least 400 tokens were received by all users of the platform, including those who have not used Uniswap for a long time.
