The beginning of advertising can be followed back to ancient civilizations. Over the centuries, advancements in technology have improved the methods and tactics used in advertising. As a public relations/advertising major in college, I believe I understand the differences between effective and non-effective practices.
If you were able to check out my last post, I wrote about Presearch, which is a community based, decentralized search engine. Within Presearch is a platform called Keyword Staking, and this enables token holders to stake their PRE in exchange for specific phrases. By doing this, it allows the user to create an ad that links to a website of their choice. Since the technology is easy to setup and use, this method of advertising provides a way to capture web traffic at little to no cost. The only cost for the advertiser would be the cost of acquiring PRE to stake, however this purchase is also an investment. Even though the staked PRE is locked up, if the value of PRE increases, you have the ability to unstake the tokens, withdraw them, and sell them.
I am glad I came across this revolutionary method of advertising, it has provided me with many new ideas for my future businesses. Also, I am currently trying to figure out how to create a profitable affiliate business, using Keyword Staking on Presearch. As I get closer to completing this project, I will disclose my progression with another post.
