Hive is one great place to put in the work and watch your account grow, this is something I got to discover my few weeks on Hive. The beauty of the blockchain is how transparent it is, when you come to a new environment where things are different from what it is used to be, the best thing to do is observe what people are doing, how they are doing it and get inspired. One of the people that inspired my posting big time is and this is because I admire his consistency in posting.
I dedicated my first few weeks on Hive to constantly read his post I ended up asking myself so many questions like, is this person a human being or a robot? How can you write this much quality content? How can you be consistent in writing this much? This inspired me greatly that it has helped me remained consistent in my posting. Of course I can’t compare myself to that man,So if you don’t know that man and you want to get some inspiration go check out his accounts and get inspired.
Some people might be against posting more than 1 post a day as they might consider it spamming, which is okay, because everyone has freedom to their opinions. While some people might consider making more than 1 post a day a product of hardwork. Which is okay too, because it takes lots of self discipline and hardwork to put out more than one post a day with different unique ideas. But then, just as people have different opinions on what is meant to be right or wrong, I have a goal I am trying to achieve, so I will try my best to achieve those goals.
Crypto is something I won’t say I discovered early, I discovered crypto in 2016, decided to invest in 2018 and made lots of mistakes with my crypto assets in 2019/2020, and lost most of my crypto holdings. So forgive me if I see a great opportunity on Hive and decide to utilize it to the fullest because opportunity they say comes but once but I am blessed to have gotten a second chance with Hive.
Most people work based on principles and goals, especially when you are a control freak that always want to have their lives in order or under their control. Ever since I started my journey on Hive I set out a posting and financial goal. My posting goal is I put out more than 2 contents but not more than 4 contents on Hive a day. This means that on a less productive day, that is , days I wasn’t feeling it, or days I was extremely busy with other activities my post count should be 2. On a normal day my post count should be the mean of my least and most which is (2 + 4)/2 = 3 posts. But on a very extremely productive day, where I am feeling so pumped and energetic, then 4 posts we have it.
Over the months I have watched my account grow really fast, in my opinion it grew faster than I expected, this won’t be possible without the constant posting from my end. This is because, while I have lots of information to disperse, I still want to achieve a financial goal of owning a lot of crypto investments, enough to make myself feel proud.
Reading post on How A Smaller Accounts Can Make An Impact Upon Hive I got to understand the rate at which small account growth is rapid on Hive. For instance it’s easy for a Newbie to grow their account HP from 0 HP to 100 HP in a month and increase it to 400 HP the next month. That’s 400% increase, which is something that is nearly impossible for big accounts to achieve. I think it gets harder when you cross to 1000 HP to double your account. Because, the numbers become bigger.
I hit 1,000 HP goal my 5th month on Hive, this was due to my constant posting, because I was posting every day, but my first 3 months HP growth on Hive was kinda slow. I started noticing and taking notes of my HP growth my 5th month on Hive when it hit 1,000 HP, this was October 2021. It took me 2 months to double the HP from 1,000 HP to 2,000 HP, I think I got to 2,000 HP in December. Once again, this was possible with constant everyday posting non-stop because I have never missed a day posting on Hive. I know my HP on January 6th, thanks for the larynx and Ragnarok airdrop, was 2497 HP. According to my calculation that was a 149.7% in 3 months from the point of 1,000 HP. My current HP is 4,765 HP, this means that after 3+ months my account has not doubled yet. Because 100% increase from January 6th means that my account should be 4,994 HP but my account is at 95% increase.
Account percentage increase after 1,000 HP
October 14th - 1,004 HP
After 3 months & 149.7% increase
January 6th - 2,497 HP
After 4 month and 95% increase
May 4th- 4,765
You see that as my account HP is growing, it’s taking more time to double it, compared to when it was way smaller.
