We cannot deny that social media is going to be even bigger however we also need to note that the new face of social media will be built on Web 3.0. Now since many people must be asking a question that what this web 3 is and what is the difference between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. In simple words, if I can try to explain then Web 2.0 is more of the social media that is controlled by some technology companies whereas Web 3.0 is decentralized and it is built on the blockchain.
What is Web 3.0?
As I said web 3.0 is built on the blockchain and it is decentralized which means there will be no company controlling the accounts as well as the content we share. In other words, we can also say that the account ownership remained with the user instead of any tech company and This is why the censorship is not there but we also need to understand this is one of the biggest problems in Web 210 where things are badly controlled by the big technology giants.
Web 3.0 apps are built on blockchains, decentralized networks of numerous peer-to-peer nodes (servers), or a hybrid of the two. These programs are known as decentralized apps (DApps), and you'll hear that term a lot in the Web 3.0 community.
LeoFinance is Building on Web 3
I have been part of LeoFinance for over 2 years and I have what they are trying to build. I think even now it is noticeable but if not just in case then I can assure you that you will observe a significant change in the coming years that will be done by LeoFinance only. They have been working on multiple components at the same time including a better user interface and the token economy which is going to provide more power to the people who are holding more tokens. Holding more tokens off this platform is like buying steak in any company which is in the initial phase but later on once it is grown then the value will be much more than what we can see now.
New LeoFinance UI is Futuristic
we know that the majority of people are still in Web 2.0 which means we can expect a mass onboarding on Web 3.0 but to make it streamlined it is important that we should build platforms that are easy to understand. The earlier interface was a good part the new one is even better and people who are familiar with Twitter can find it similar to that which I think is a good move by the team. There should not be the case when people get confused that what option they are supposed to use making it simple and easy to understand is the first requirement and I'm glad that the team has done it finally.
The transition phase from traditional social media to the new version of the Internet which is known as Web 3.0 is going to be significant and players that already exist in the segment are going to get benefited in terms of a bigger user base. I also expect that Leo Finance is going to see massive adoption of its ecosystem in the coming years because I do not see any other name in the list that is trying to build at the same pace and together this is going to make the hive a better place.
I have been using the new interface for the last week and it is pretty good however some bugs are getting fixed on priority. I like the speed and some of the new options that they have added and trust me once the new UI is fully functional without any boxing place then you are going to love it and it will make blogging or microblogging so much fun and interesting. Content monetization has not been a problem here since the beginning because we are on Web 3 where we do need not to go through any criteria to meet for this benefit.
So if you have not tried the new user interface then I recommend you to give it a try and you are going to love it because there is a lot which you will like more and maybe you would like to visit it everyday without miss. It's not just about the crypto and finance because there is a lot that you can experience and I'm sure it is going to be full of a learning experience for you while you also have the opportunity to connect with some amazing content creators over there.
Thank you so much
