I've been playing around with ThorSwap a bit recently, and having staked some assets via the BNB chain, I fancied swapping some RUNE for XRUNE so I installed the XDEFI wallet into Chrome, as that's the only way I could get some.
Don't bother downloading this wallet, it's shit, stick with MetaMask.
What a heap of shit - firstly it keeps demanding I give permission every time I log onto a DEFI site or even CoinMarketCap, secondly the install prevented me from accessing CubDefi via MetaMask (now I've **uninstalled XDEFi it's all fine again).
On top of that I can't for the life of me see where the $20 worth of ETH I sent over via MetaMask has gone to - YES I went small, just enough to cover the TX fees for the transaction I'd intended to make. It was definitely 'there' a couple of hours ago on ThorSwap, but I just can't seem to see it anymore.
The reason it should have still been in there is because I didn't want to pay the $15 swap fees for Rune to XRUNE on eth, that much wasn't XDEFi's fault, it's just a shit wallet,
I'll wait for the MetaMask integration before picking up some XRUNE.
I've got the wallet backed up so when I can face it I'll dig around for that $20 and get it back, but that's not for today.
Oh, anything that's 'in my face' like the default setting of XDEFI and 'blocks' other applications - I regard both of those as abusive, I'd just rather less people were subjected to this kind of nonsense!
At least I haven't wasted too much time on this today!
