OK OK HANDS UP - I more or less made it a 40K LEO stake (combined across LEO POWER/ my WLEO in the Eth pool and LBI tokens) a few months back, and then Cub came along and I had to take advantage of the $1 LEO price, so I Powered Down about 4K LEO, and put most of that in the bleo-BNB Cub pool, but subsequently pulled most of that, selling the bleo for stables and pooling those on Cub instead.
I also pulled my entire 6K WLEO investment out of the WETH pool and put that separately into Cub - in the single ETH Den and then sold most of that LEO for stables and put them in pools.
Overall I've sold about 10K LEO, but given that I've ploughed most of that back into Cub and given the recent decline in the LEO price I've currently got more staked across LEO/ Cub than I had when I was just staked in LeoFinacne and the WLEO-ETH Pool!
I've currently got something like....
- 28K LEO powered up
- 1300 LEO still in the bleo-BNB pool
- 1500 Cub across the Cub Den and BUSD-Cub farm (I don't tend to hold DEFI coins, this is a REAL exception for me!)
- 1050 LBI
- Oh, and more than a few thousand in stables staked in stable farms on Cub. MOST of which came from selling that 10K LEO.
Handily enough with Cub sitting at just under $1 (held up nicely in the last week, huh?!?) and Leo around $0.33 it makes mental math nice and easy......
So all in all I've got something like 55K LEO equivalent staked across Leo and Cub ATW.
I've actually got more staked in Cub - in the ETH, BTC and DEC dens and pools, but I'm not counting that in my calculations as I didn't swap LEO for those, well, other than for a tiny bit of DEC.
I'm pretty pleased with the way I've managed to protect my wealth my cashing out for stables as a hedge against the declining LEO price, which I never expected - I went in for DEFI gains, but cashing out some for stables - it's had a nice secondary function of wealth protection over the last couple of months, while still yielding.
My LEO VOTE VALUE HAS GONE UP BESIDES MY PD...
I know I'm not the only one whose powered down some LEO recently - if the price isn't enough of a clue, my vote value has actually INCREASED over the last two months despite my decrease in LP.
It's time to Power Back Up!
Despite these excellent DEFI gains, I still can't help but FEEL the blogging aspect of LEO the most - I enjoy having a nice stake and being able to vote and get rewarded, and I enjoy writing.
For me it's time to start Powering Up LEO, I might even buy some, it feels cheep and I also feel that Cub and LEO have reached their balancing point.
But more than any feeling about the value, I'm just more into writing and curating than I am into DEFI - must be my working class roots, I feel more comfortable 'earning' my tokens rather than money for nothing.
Not that the DEFI gains aren't nice!
This time I'm aiming for 40K actual LEO POWER, rather than 40K staked across various initiatives.
12K to go, so feel free to keep on selling for a while the rest of you!
