A couple of minutes ago, while thinking about this post, I heard my son read aloud a topic for a lesson on the history of Ukraine.
It was about Princess Olga, who took tribute from the Drevlyan tribes. This tribute consisted of pigeons and sparrows.
Yes, in those days sparrows were valuable and could save life, not letting them die of hunger, or get the opportunity to pay off the claims of the enemy.
I don't know what the sparrows were made of, but I feel sorry for those who plucked their feathers lol.
It was a very labor intensive barbecue.
You know, history goes in a circle, and I hope that the sparrows will not become, again, a gourmet dish, because, in the cities, there are very few sparrows left.
Perhaps today, the jahm coin looks like a small sparrow, but I believe that one day this sparrow will turn into a fat turkey lol.
