Am here to write about the ongoing challenge which is how I spend 100hbd,the value of 1 HBD in my country (Nigeria) is #500
Today I went to the supermarket with my little sister to do some groceries and provisions for her and the family, and the price of things are very high and costly, things are really really expensive compared to previous years that things are very cheap and affordable
Today I paid my sister's School fees to support my parent and to make things easier for them I paid her school fees #20000 and I took her to the supermarket to buy her some toiletries for her hostel use and some notebooks
that is 💲37 in USA currency that is 40HBD. Inflation as really affected the price of things in the market because things are very expensive.
The economy of the country is very high and people selling goods are lamenting and complaining day and night that the price of goods rises everyday and it is not convinent for them either.
As at year 2015 a bag of rice was sold for #8000 that is 💲15 in USA currency and now it is sold for #32,000 that is 💲59 in USA currency.
I spent #18000 on toiletries that is 💲36 in USA currency which is 35HBD. And I later proceed to market to buy crates of eggs for the family and that will serve us for the rest of the month.
That is how I spent 100 HBD today.
