Just like that this month has already come to an end. For the month of November I didn’t have a lot of goals to set as I was lacking in a lot of places. What I mean to say is that, before the beginning of November I had not set any goals and by far I was not thinking of much.
I had to set my goals in the middle of the month as I stated to realise that things were not as I wanted them to be. As you know already, we all seem to have new year resolutions. Every year everyone writes or thinks about how they want to be better in certain areas of their life’s.
But as time goes by I think most people go back into their old habit or should I say old ways of life? One thing that I’ve come to appreciate about setting new year resolutions is that we always set to put a timeline on a lot of things that we want to accomplish.
Mostly those things don’t just need time but they need money to accomplish. So I am going to say that yes, we might want to accomplish everything as soon as possible but little steps always makes it worth while.
Since most of our goals are money bound we can easily do it little by little. You want to gave lets a 1000 hive power by the end of the year? You can set a realistic goal of either setting all your posts from now until the end of the year to 100% power ups or you manage and cough out 33 hive to power up everyday to get to that.
As much as we will like it we need to do it and not get shot in the leg. So what have I been up to?
For me I can only say a few things that I’ve set myself out to do and well I think I am well on the way to accomplishing it.
Firstly, Knowledge on technical skills in trading. For me, I was onboarded initially crypto with a technical knowledge. It was a learn to earn for me as I learned a lot about crypto even before I started trading. But truth be told, it was money motivated.
I was only concerned about getting it correct and getting the bad. In practicality I never used that knowledge when I was trading spot. I only leaned towards fundamentals and for sometime it worked for me.
When trading futures I used sentiments as well and it didn’t go well. I stopped leveraging for sometime only to realize I’ve lost touch on technical skills. So for now, I am starting all over. So far it’s been good. I do procrastinate a lot but then I am getting a hang of it with the knowledge I get from YouTube.
Secondly, posting consistently. For me posting consistently for a while now has become a big problem for me. The thing is I try to force myself to post everyday and then when I finally miss a day I go back to not posting for a week and it goes on. Now I am making the conscious effort to post every day and it seems to be working for me now. Hopefully I can uphold it.
Next, My Leo token stake is at 5k. This 5k was a figure I had hoped I could get to by the end of the year but here we are. I decided to pump it to 5k about 2 months ago and now I am looking at a strategic way to get my bag to 10k staked before the end of next year. I am planning to do it gradually not like how I did for the 5k cause I never know when I’ll need cash. I also wouldn’t want to fall back to my staked tokens when I am pressed for cash.
When I powered all my Leo down at 2.5k I didn’t think I’ll be rebuilding it back but here we are.
Next is my hive power. For now I have 1500 hive power. I know I should have had more but I had to power it down for other pressing issues. Now I am trying to get back to like 2000 before this year ends. I don’t know if it’ll be possible though as I am not capable of powering up at the moment. It’s the hive power I get from post payouts that will be stacking up slowly.
How are things going at your side? Do you plan on getting more done by the time the year ends? Tell me about it.
