Finally, rumors have been confirmed and the german savings bank announced they are running a pilot to introduce its customers $BTC and $ETH trading services. The pilot is being developed by S-Payment
As I have published before, this is huge news as we are talking about 50M people in Germany who will have direct access to crypto from their current banks, offering an extra layer of security and confidence for those not familiar with the technology.
I am pretty sure other countries will follow, but Germany will open the door to other European citizens willing to jump into crypto as they will be able to open an account if the banks in their own country do not offer the same services.
There's a huge potential for growth for next year and this may be the spark the market needs to enter the mass market.
