What a day yesterday was!!!

At first it was all good. Woke up withouwithout an alarm clock, made some breakfast and brought the kid to school...

But then I went into the basement and we had a flood!

The water heater had finally kicked the bucket. So I moved some furniture out of the way, picked up carpets, got the sump pump running and started pushing the water towards it with a broom.

Once I had everything cleaned up, and the water heater turned off, I noticed a new pool of pink liquid...

Our oil tank was leaking!!!

Now our house smells like the engine room on a big boat. But everything is getting fixed!
