Possible Metamask Airdrop
Metamask has been hinting in interviews that they will create a Metamask token, possible a DAO coin, and it will be air dropped to users of Matamask Wallet Swaps.
Air drops for those of you who don't know, are free money. Basically a financial reward for supporting a company or service.
The famous Uniswap air drop comes to mind. Uniswap was one of the first decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which is on the ethereum blockchain. Users made it the largest decentralized exchange in the world.
the creators of Uniswap created a token called UNI and air dropped it to the wallets of users of Uniswap in proportion to their documented swaps from thier wallets. This huge air drop made millionaires, thousandaires and hundredaires out of many, many traders.

Metamask developed an intra-wallet swap, which operates like a multi-dex swap service, where they check multiple decentralized exchanges for the best swap prices and execute your swaps right inside your Metamask wallet. It has become immensely successful generating millions of dollars US in revenue.

Industry writers suspect an airdrop and DAO are next in the evolution of Metamask, and the founders are not denying this possibility, and have been quoted saying an air drop will happen, but are elusive as to when.
Air drop qualifications
So far the only qualification for the air drop is the use of the swap. I started using the swap a few months ago and I can report the prices are slightly worse for Cub, BUSD, bLeo and Dai swaps on Metamask then they are on PanCakeSwap. Its small for me, around two dollars more expensive using Metamask per swap. So while I know I am losing money in the short term, I think it may be worth it in the long term.
