Trustlessness
I have written a couple posts about the recent bridge hacks, and the underlying lack of cryptographic security and the trusted nature off these bridges.
.
.
.
In short these bridges possess your tokens in trusted transfers of the value of your assets from one blockchain to another. The interesting thing is that many people don’t know who runs the bridges or the defi projects or if they have been audited or if they are forks of time tested code……but here on Cubfinance we do.
Most bridges are by anonymous developers.
Most defi projects are by anonymous teams
Many defi projects are unaudited
Here on Cubfinance we know the developer..
Here on Cubfinance know the team
Here on Cubfinance we know the code is audited by CertiK, one of the best.
Here on Cubfinance we know our project is a fork of Goosefinance
Here on Cubfinance we know our farms and staking projects are on Pancake Swap one of the biggest projects in all of DeFi.
Here on Cubfinance we understand our Leobridge is trusted.
Here on Cubfinance we know our liquidity provider positions are trusted.
But…
Here on Cubfinance we know who we are trusting.
We have to use trusted bridges.
We have to use trusted LP positions
We have to use smart contracts code forked from other projects.
But we don’t have to trust anonymous developers.
We don’t have to trust anonymous Bridges.
We don’t have to tryst anonymous DeFi projects.
We have a choice, we can use bridges and defi projects built by people we know, and audited by companies we know.
And We can trust real people, whom we know, with our money.
