Hello everyone
Today I am going to share a world coin that’s in as good of shape as I feel. This coin is over 100 years old and looks every bit of it. I bought this for spot when gold was climbing, totally for the gold weight. The specs are for .1875 gold content but with the wear it weighs in at .1856 which is what weight I paid for it.
The coin is an 1813A 20 franc gold coin.
Everyone knows that I’m a coin snob so to me this isn’t really a coin, it’s gold weight like buying a round or bar. Basically it’s the same as buying constitutional silver US coins but in gold.
Anyhow.....
