Hello an welcome back for another edition of #worldcoinwednesday. Today’s coin was inspired by a post from our community friend and fellow pirate 
She posted this coin a while back and as I said many times, I’m a huge fan of ships on coins or rounds. So once I saw the coin I immediately did a search for it.
I got lucky almost immediately, there was an auction closing on a graded one that very night. I placed a bid and one the very coin you are about to view.
The coin is a Canadian commemorative from 2004. It’s called the first French settlement. It’s the 400th anniversary of it and this was the coin that was struck.
It is graded by NGC as a PF69 Ultra Cameo.
