A striking image of Chiwoo Cheonwang appears on the reverse of the 2023 South Korean Silver Chiwoo Cheonwang coin. In South Korean culture, Cheonwang is a widely recognized emblem. On the obverse field of South Korean Chiwoo Cheonwang Coins is the Doggaebi shield of Chiwoo. The mythological doggaebi is smiling and facing the shield. The Doggaebi effigy was hung by people to ward off evil spirits from the edge of their roof tiles. The coin's identifying symbols are also displayed all around the shield.
Asia's various civilizations and nations have their own unique takes on Chiwoo. According to certain depictions, Chiwoo has six arms and four eyes, each of which is equipped with a unique weapon. In other versions, he wears a monster mask and leads the military. This mask served as the South Korean soccer team's mascot during the 2002 World Cup and can be seen on Chiwoo's shield on the obverse.
Here are the South Korean Silver Chiwoo Cheonwang series. It is the first Asian series that I have. I shall continue this collection to form part of my permanent stack.
I am thinking about the best use of my savings and the way I stack silver. I think that I will hold on to the series coins that I have started. These are the Swans, Emu, Lunar III, Lunar Ounce, and RAM Lunar Coins, Dragon Rectagular Coin, the ChiWoo CHeonwang series. These coins I will hold on to as part of my permanent collection. The rest will be vintage generic rounds and bars.
I'll continue to get the bullion of the year of Mexico, Canada. Great Britain, Australia, Austria, and whatever country that is, and the American Silver Eagles. When the timing of right, these are what I shall sell and covert them into gold.
And the end game is GOLD!
