The trailer for Hope just dropped after its Cannes debut and it turns out this is a Michael Fassbender sci fi action thriller, which is more interesting to me than another slow festival drama, the teaser does not give away much and I am fine with that, my issue with Cannes favorites is that they sometimes play very well in a screening room and then feel exhausting at home, but Fassbender in something with actual action and a sci fi angle is at least a different proposition, I am curious but I am not buying into it until I see a real trailer that shows more of what this actually is,
