When I wrote the post the other day about when to take profit I thought maybe it was a good idea to write up a guide to the kucoin trading bot.
This bot is really not a very hard one to use or set up so this should be a nice quick guide, Remember this is not financial advice just a way to possibly make some extra profit.
Kucoin Bot
The first thing you are going to clearly do is head on over to Kucoin and get yourself a KYC-free account. The other thing I will point out right now is this bot requires the mobile app and can't be accessed on the website.
After you have signed up, If used my referral link thank you, If you didn't still thank you for view this guide. You will have to download the app on the platform of your choice like apple or Andriod
Once that has downloaded and you are all signed in, you will want to fund your account. Sadly so far they do not have hive ( Go tag them on Twitter and ask why). But you can fund with the most common crypto like bitcoin (using that for this guide) and you can even convert hive to other coins on blocktrades.
Now I am sure you can figure out how to fund the account the next part most exchanges don't make you do so I will cover that really quick. You will want to move your funds from the main account over to the trading account. This is easy and done by clicking the transfer button at the top of the app.
You can head on over to the trading bot icon on the app, It will load a screen that shows Classic Grid, DCA, & Futures Grid. This guide is for the Classic Grid. Maybe at a later date, we can do a guide on Futures!
Click on the Classic grid to be taken to the next screen where we get to choose the bot we want to start. The is where we can find the bots, But we can also find other people's strategies. This is one of the best features of this bot. You are presented with strategies that have been working for people and you can see how long. ( Remember time doesn't always mean bigger gains)
I am going to pick a BTC trade but I want to talk a bit about my first mistake, When I set one of my bots up #matic to be exact it was new to the list and I thought that meant I can get sure gains. This is WRONG I have been in the trade for almost a week now and I am still down 4%.
I am still very new to this so don't blame me for losing money but I have noticed as with all trades is pay attention to price before getting into the trade.
As you can see Tlos I think is a bad bot to run ATM volatility is high but the price shot to the moon yesterday.
